Elevate Ministries International a.k.a. Elevate Church is a non profit Christian ministry fully registered and incorporated with the state of Texas and has a 501c(3) status with the IRS.

The birth of the vision

Elevate church literarily began at a high elevation of 37,000 feet above the ground aboard Air France. Pastors Uyi & Faith Abraham have been praying for months regarding the ministry move that God will have for them having relocated from Houston, Texas to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 2004 in obedience to the voice of God saying, “Move ministry base to Dallas.” They were convicted that God is about to do something big and new in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. 

     As they were talking about this move of the spirit, Pastor Uyi Abraham heard very loud and clear these words, “Elevate Church, the time has come.” They quickly wrote down the words, the vision and ministry plan on the pages of the magazine they were reading as God continued to pour into them His vision for Elevate Church, the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and the world.  

The vision of Elevate Church

The vision of Elevate Church is simple: To bring people that are far from God into a growing relationship with Christ!

Mark 16:15-20 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

This is a God vision. It’s God’s plan for the hour. God wants to shake up Dallas/Fort Worth for his glory. He wants to use Elevate Church to do this. Becoming a part of this ministry is more than joining a church, it is fulfilling destiny, Joining something larger than life.

     We want to see Jesus glorified and people elevated to the place of their divine inheritance. We are convicted that God wants to do a great thing in and through our church. It is a bible based, spirit filled church. We dream of a healthy church: not with bricks, mortar or stone; but with people. We look to provide comfort for the hurting, hope for the hopeless and food for the hungry. Elevate church is a place where imperfect people can come and find grace and joy in the kingdom of God.

The Message

It is the message of the kingdom of God. We only do two things in our gatherings -energetic worship experiences and creative teachings of the word. In simple terms, the message is to reveal: who we are in Christ, what we have in Christ and what we can do in Christ!

Diversity and Creativity

Elevate church is a church of diversity. We will continually seek to be the church that will replicate the kingdom of God here on earth by having different races, status and nations represented in the church. In other words, this is not a black church or white church but a church for all nations of people. We seek to be one of the most creative church in the universe.

Elevate Music

The music style will be gospel contemporary and often upbeat praise and worship.  

Meeting Times

We will continue to have Sunday evening gatherings at 5PM until we are able to build a strong core team and/or significantly articulated the vision to the congregation before we transition to our big launch on Sunday mornings. 

Elevate Colors

The ministry colors are Orange, green and white.

Orange is a power color. It is one of the healing colors. It is said to increase the craving for food (hmmmn!). It also stimulates enthusiasm, joy, creativity and success. Orange means vitality with endurance. People who like orange are usually thoughtful and sincere.

Green is the color of nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety. Dark green is also commonly associated with money and prosperity.  Green has great healing power. It is the most restful color for the human eye; it can improve vision. Green represents growth, stability, safety and endurance. Green is the color of balance. If you don't know what color to use anywhere use green.

White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection. White can represent a successful beginning. In heraldry, white depicts faith and purity. In advertising, white is associated with coolness and cleanliness because it's the color of snow. You can use white to suggest simplicity in high-tech products. White is an appropriate color for charitable organizations; angels are usually imagined wearing white clothes. It stands for wholeness and completion. In many cultures it represents openness and truth.

Our purpose: To bring people that are far from God into a growing relationship with Christ.

EMPOWER: To empower believers to use their gifts, money, talents and resources to serve Christ.

EXCEL: To excel in all that we do. Excellence and Creativity is the core of this ministry. We will strive to be creative and innovative in spreading our vision and message.

ELEVATE: To always elevate Jesus Christ and not ourselves. In every of our gatherings, the focus of our worship will be our Lord Jesus Christ as we reverence the Father God and the Person of the Holy Spirit. In every of our gatherings, we will offer opportunities for the people that are far from God to come into a relationship with Christ.
